After doing some research I have noticed there are TONS of different softwares available out there for vinyl cutting. And every master, having aforesaid apprentices, shall earnestly enjoin. Vinyl Express Q130 Cutter Plotter, Unit is in great condition, Can fit 60' wide media and cut up to 54'. I have the cutter and a computer, I just don't know where to go from here. So my question is.What software is good for a beginner? Something free or really cheap would be best for right now as I don't have a lot of money to drop on it at this time. The only problem is that it did not come with software. I just picked up a Vinyl Express Q100 42" Cutter to see if I can start doing a little bit bigger projects. I have learned a lot about the Silhouette but know pretty much NOTHING about any other cutters or software. I started a couple months ago with a Silhouette Cameo that I received as a gift, it has since turned into an obsession. I am also new to the vinyl cutting business, it's actually more of a hobby right now. So if i'm doing this wrong please please let me know. Hello everyone, I am new to the forum as of today. ![]()
